Stop by the library between Feb 1st and Feb14th to participate in our “Blind Date with a Book” program! Its easy, fast and fun. Blind Date with a Book matches you with an unknown gift wrapped book which you choose to check out at the library, not knowing the type, genre, author, title, etc of the selection. Then you take your book on a blind date by choosing to meet with and read it and give it chance to make an impression.
Best part.. you then get to let us know how your blind date went! Did you have a love conncetion? Did the date end early for whatever reason? Did something unexpected happen? We want to hear all about it!
So stop by the library beginning Feb 1 and meet your blind date

jmurphy, on January 5th, 2012 Have you seen the giant, friendly snowman in the library? He thinks reading is fun, and invites children of all ages to participate in “It’s SnowMuch Fun to Read“!
We’re raffling off the snowman! Just come into the library and fill out the form with your name and the title of a book you’ve read. Add a couple of sentences about the story and whether you liked it or not. We will randomly pull out one name from the group with the most complete entries. Preschoolers are welcome to participate with some help. The program runs from January 3-26. The drawing will be on Friday, January 27.
