A selection of NetLibrary's best-selling fiction and non-fiction, classics, and
courses in foreign language is now available for downloading to your home computer.

To register for this service...

Cranbury Public Library cardholders must come into the library and create a NetLibrary account. Once you have created an account you will be able to access this new service from home and download eAudiobooks to your computer and portable player

Interested but no player?

Ask a librarian to download a selected title onto one of the library's portable players.  Check out the player and hear what eAudiobooks is all about!

How to Get Started

Come into the library and access NetLibrary.comClick on the 'Create A Free Account' tab (located upper right).  Enter a username and password.   Once you have registerd you can access your account from any computer.

  1. Log In - From your home or work computer go to the homepage for NetLibrary.  Click the 'Log In' tab and enter your username and password.
  2. Choose an Audiobook - Use the Search feature to find a book or click on the eAudiobook Center to browse titles by subject.
  3. Download an Audiobook - Click on Download this Audiobook.  Select a download option:  Cd or Radio quality.  A download window will pop up asking what you want to do with the file.  Choose Save and save it to a folder such as My Documents.
  4. Acquire the License - Open Windows Media Player (from Programs or icon on your desktop).  The following actions are ESSENTIAL:
  • Double click on the highlighted title to acquire the license.
  • Enter your NetLibrary username and password and click on Log In.
  • The license then downloads and you are prompted to play the audiobook.
  • To stop the playback, click on the Stop button on the bottom of the Windows Media Player.

Once you have downloaded an eAudiobook and acquired the license
you may listen on your computer or transfer the file to a portable player.
