African American Song is the first online resource to document the history of African American music in an online music listening service. The collection contains a diverse range of genres such as jazz, blues, gospel, ragtime, folk songs, and narratives, among others.

American Song is a history database that will contain 50,000 tracks that allows people to hear and feel the music from America's past. The database will include songs by and about American Indians, miners, immigrants, slaves, children, pioneers, and cowboys. Included in the database are the songs of Civil Rights, political campaigns, Prohibition, the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, anti-war protests and more. Liner notes to all the albums are included (in PDF format) as well as static URLs to each track and album in the database.

Classical Music Library is the world's largest multi-label database of Classical music recordings for listening and learning in libraries. Coverage of repertoire is increasing as new labels are added, with a particular focus on contemporary music and women composers. |

The collection provides educators, students, and interested listeners with an unprecedented variety of online resources that support the creation, continuity, and preservation of diverse musical forms.

To access these databases from home you must be a Cranbury Public Library cardholder. You will need your 14 digit library card number. In the library access is automatic.
When you access a music database you may register and set up an account. An account will allow you to create playlists that you can access each time you enter the database. To retrieve playlists just log in.
Each database is separate. If you use more than one you will need to register for each - but you may use the same email address and password for all your accounts.
